Blue Springs Scout Reserve
Their Excellencies of Ben Dunfirth do beseech all who read or hear of this missive to attend them on the tournament fields of Murder Melee
this summer season. Come all Trillium Baronies and Shires, bring your Men-at-arms, your Companies, Retinues, Crews, Bands or Hordes and let
a great clamour rise up as our forces meet in glorious combat. May our soldiers meet as opponents and before the tournament is over, may
they be forged into a united scarlet tide that will overwhelm our enemies are we march south to War and Victory!
Murder Melee promises to be an event that offers it all: a great site for families and camping, glorious competition in all martial
activities and the services of the new Dizzy Dragon tavern for various sumptuous needs. Whether you are training for war or simply enjoying
the summer season in wine and song. Murder Melee will not disappoint!

Alcohol:
- The site is very discretely damp.
- No alcohol bottles of any kind should be visible at any time.
- Offenders of the no alcohol rule will be ejected from the premises.
Accommodations:
- The site features plenty of flat, campable land, fire pits for campfires or outdoor cooking, and also cabins
for those who prefer to “camp” indoors.
- Bunks are available in the large bunkhouse, but are limited - contact the event steward for a reservation and pre-payment arrangements.
- All unpaid reservations will be released as first come, first serve on Thursday evening.
- Sorry, but no pets are allowed.
- Notice that this site is now Green Friendly with only recycling bins - All garbage must be carried out individually.
Dizzy Dragon Tavern:
- Although our tavern keepers from last year are unable to return, fear not! Our new tavern keepers will more than make up for it!
The Dizzy Dragon Tavern will be serving lunches and dinners.
Taymar’s Essential Kneads:
- Taymar, a Registered Massage Therapist, will be offering his services this year. Feeling achy after
coming off the battlefield? Slept in your tent poorly? Taymar can help!
- Bookings will be first come, first served, for same day. Reservations for the rest of weekend will
be the same format.

- Take Exit 295, Hwy 6 North (towards Guelph).
- Turn right at Wellington Road 34.
- Turn left on Guelph Line.
- Turn right on 25th Side Road/Regional Road 12.

- The entrance to Blue Springs will be approximately 3 km down the road, on the right.
From the East:
- Take your best route to Hwy 401 West.
- Take Exit 320, Hwy 25 North towards Acton.
- Turn left on 25th Side Road/Regional Road 12.
- Turn right at Nassagaweya 6th Line.
- The entrance to Blue Springs will be approximately 3 km down the road, on the right.
From the South:
- Take your best route to the QEW towards Toronto.
- Take exit 102, Guelph Line North.
- About 10 minutes north of the 401 turn right on 25th Side Road/Regional Road 12.
- Turn left at Nassagaweya 6th Line.
- The entrance to Blue Springs will be approximately 3 km down the road, on the right.
