Places Around Ben Dunfirth

The Barony of Ben Dunfirth is a large one, and many of our activities are spread out across its vast
territories. Below, you will find directions on how to reach some of our more active locations.

Archery Practice Range, West Flamborough
Our outdoor archery practice range is in Greensville in West Flamborough. Practices are always weather
permitting during the non-winter months and usually start at 2:00 pm and run until 5:00 pm on Sunday
afternoons.
Please check the Practices Schedule for the correct time and location.
Directions:
From highway 8 north through Dundas, continue straight into Greensville. Turn left at the four-way stop
with the flashing light onto Old Brock Road. Old Brock Road will bend to the right. Turn left onto Cora
Drive and proceed all the way to the end of the street. Parking is available down the right side of
the last house.

Baron's Castle, West Mountain, Hamilton
Occasionally the Baron of Ben Dunfirth likes to host activities at his castle, such as heraldry nights or
A&S nights. His address is 7 Southside Place, Unit #1.

Directions:
From the corner of Mohawk Road West and Rice Avenue, travel north along Rice Avenue. Turn left onto
Chedmac Drive. Turn left once again onto Southridge Drive. Southridge turns to the right, but the
extension continuing straight ahead into the court is Southside Place. There are two entrances to the
townhouse complex, both marked on brick pillars as "7 Southside Place". Use the second entance and
there is a small parking lot on the left. The townhouse closest to the court and directly across
from the parking lot is unit #1.

Churchill Park, Westdale, Hamilton
Our outdoor fight practice site is Churchill Park near the Aviary in Westdale. Practices are always
weather permitting during the non-winter months, and usually start at 6:30 pm and run until dark.
Occasonally we will hold our business meetings during the practices as well.

Directions:
Take King Street West into Westdale, Hamilton. Turn right at Marion Avenue North. The bend to the
left becomes Dromore Crescent. Take Oak Knoll Drive when it splits off to the right. Parking
is free at the Aviary.

McMaster University, Westdale, Hamilton
The university is a natural location for us to host a variety of different functions. Sometimes we
host our meetings here, at other times we have Arts and Sciences nights. And still at other evenings
we have dance practices.

Directions:
Enter McMaster at the Sterling Street entrance. The Student Centre is the building with lots of curved
windows, and is directly behind Mills library. Togo Salmon Hall is at the back of the quad.

Prince Philip School, Westdale, Hamilton
Our indoor fight practice site is in Prince Philip School in Westdale, Hamilton. Practices usually start at
6:30 pm and run until 9:30 pm on Monday nights. Often we will hold our business meetings during the
practices as well.

Directions:
From Main Street, in front of McMaster University, head west. Just past the Fortino's, turn left onto Rifle Range Road.
The school's address is 125 Rifle Range Road. Enter the parking lot through the Whitney Avenue
driveway and park in the lot. The building entrance is will be right behind the parking lot.
